Main duties of the job

The role involves being an integral member of the Multi Disciplinary Teams (MDT), co-ordinating, organising, attending and administering a number of weekly MDT meetings.

To be responsible for accurate and timely recording of the whole patient pathway using tact and diplomacy to ensure compliance with pathways and escalation policy

To be able to supervise the administrative and clerical staff within the CAMHS Team, organising their workload as necessary and reviewing systems and processes in line with service needs.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • EDCL or willingness to undertake
  • Good standard of general education
  • Must be willing to undergo additional training and attendance at study days as required to ensure ongoing post development.
  • ILM Management Level 3 or equivalent experience
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent experience plus relevant practical experience and knowledge of specialised functional terms
  • Extensive and demonstrable knowledge and experience (to at least RSA level 3 or equivalent) of the full range of administrative systems, software programmes to include all Microsoft applications (word, excel, access, email)

  • Evidence of ongoing study relevant to this position

  • Must be willing and demonstrate ongoing study both formal or informal to ensure practice and knowledge up to date
